As children of God, we should respect and love each other. The Bible warns us against taking advantage of others. When we exploit others by taking advantage of them, we go against the teachings of God. God has called us to be righteous and just.
In the Bible, we see instances where some people were wicked in taking advantage of others. For example, in the story of Jacob and Esau, we see that Jacob took away his brother’s rights. By this, the relationship between the two brothers has deteriorated, and they are enemies of each other. In another case, we see that King David abused his power to receive Bathsheba. As a result of this incident, King David had to suffer a lot.
God has called us to be honest and righteous. He wants us to conduct justice with each other. From the word of God, we know that our God hates evil. So we should give up our evil practices. We have to behave fairly with everyone and live honestly.
Lord Jesus has taught us to love people along with our neighbors. We should never use others to fulfill our own interests. If we use a naive person to fulfill our purpose, then maybe we will temporarily benefit, but we have to remember that God is on the side of weak people. If we fill our own interests by fooling people, then it is also important to remember that we are fooling God.
If we realize the teachings of the Bible with our hearts, we will understand that God wants us to live a righteous life. Even though we have to get in trouble on the path of righteousness, we have to remember that God will give the reward. So we will always try to be patient during the time of suffering and be persistent in the Word of God.
