When God calls us to serve Him, we should be committed. Serving God is different from our worldly activities and requires a life of dedication and complete surrender to the will of God.
We should put God above our activities and all our thoughts. By participating in church activities, we not only serve God but also we should live a life of righteousness that will make others know Him, and by that we will serve God.
When we commit to serve God, we are committing to follow God’s commandments and teachings. In the Bible, we see countless examples of people who completely dedicated their lives to serving God.
In the life of Abraham, we see God calling him, and he left his home and country to go to a new and unknown land. Similarly, Moses led the people of Israel out of Egypt despite facing many difficult situations. These people were able to do this great work because they dedicated themselves completely to serving God.
Jesus Christ served God by sacrificing his life for our sins. God’s plan of salvation for mankind was completed through Jesus’ sacrifice. Therefore, as followers of Jesus, we must take up our cross every day and be steadfast in following him.
We can serve God through the small tasks that God gives us. We can serve God by loving our neighbors and forgiving sinners. It can be said that we can serve God by keeping His commandments. So let us be faithful to God and always be ready to serve him.
