Today, we will discuss the topic of Godly men in the light of the Bible. Who are Godly men? The answer is those who strive to live in accordance with God’s will. They follow the scripture and abide by it. They love God and seek his guidance in their lives. Godly men know that their strength comes from the Lord, and they depend on God for guidance and protection.
We are called to be Godly men in order to glorify God. To do so, we must love God and seek to form a personal relationship with God. Regular prayer and scripture reading will help us to know the will of God, and he will guide our path, where we will be blessed. When we make God happy, he shows us kindness, compassion, and mercy.
A godly man should be a good leader in his family. He leads by example, showing love, honesty, hard work, and faithfulness in all he does. He needs to play the role of a provider and protector spiritually. He must pray for his family and neighbours.
In the Bible, we can find many Godly men such as Abraham, Joshua, Moses, and Job. Abraham was known as the father of faith since he trusted God when he did not know what was waiting ahead of him. King David was known as a man after God’s own heart. He repented and humbled himself before the Lord to seek God’s forgiveness.
As we are the followers of Jesus Christ, we need to honor God by being Godly men. When we obey God’s will and follow his commandments, he leads us in a way where we find the true meaning of our lives.
Let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about godly men.
