Being believers of Jesus, we need to understand what things are truly important in our lives. Meditating Word of God can teach us to find out the important things in our lives. We like many things in our lives, and we view them as important, but when we compare them with the teachings of Jesus, we truly recognize the important things.
The most important thing in our lives is to love God the most and serve Him with all our heart and soul. The second most important thing is to love our neighbors as ourselves. Apart from these, many other things are needed in our lives, such as forgiving and serving the poor.
We need to have faith in Jesus in order to overcome temptations. Faith will help us to trust God. If our faith is weak, our spiritual life will suffer a lot.
We should be saved by turning from sin and live a life of holiness. Jesus came to earth to save us, so let us think about his sacrificial work for our salvation.
Jesus told Nicodemus, Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, no one can enter the kingdom of God. So we should be baptized in water and the Spirit. We should preach the gospel to others so that they, too, can be saved.
Above all, we should live a life where we care about our souls and prepare others for salvation. We need to live a life of righteousness that will help the world know God. When we follow Jesus, we will encounter many obstacles and dangers, but we must remember that the outcome is very beneficial for us.
Daily reading of the Bible and obeying God’s Word are an important part of our lives. When we do these things, we realize that we are doing the most valuable things in life that will help us enter the kingdom of God.
