As a Christian, we must trust in God’s timing. Most of the time we struggle with our expectations of God’s plan and wonder why He doesn’t answer our prayers. The Bible gives us many examples of this, from which we understand the need to wait on God’s timing.
We can understand God’s timing better if we remember the story of Abraham and Sarah. God promised them a child but it took many years for that promise to be fulfilled. During this time, they doubted and became impatient with God. But God fulfilled that promise on time through the birth of Isaac. From this story, we learn that God knows the right time and that He acts on time.
The Lord Jesus also taught us to be completely dependent on God and to be steadfast in faith in His timing. God is not a liar that He will not keep His word to us but He knows our future so He gives us what we need on time.
Therefore, as children of God, let us trust in His timing and be patient. May we never doubt and distrust God.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about God’s timing.
