Today we will discuss what God’s Word teaches us about spending time with friends. In the Bible, we find evidence of many friendships and how they interacted with each other. The Lord Jesus himself spent time with his disciples, sharing meals and discussing various topics.
We see the beautiful friendship between King David and Jonathan in the Bible. From there we can learn that true friends are not only there for us in good times but also in bad times. A friend does not mean just sitting and talking, it means encouraging us, showing us the right path and being there for us in times of trouble.
As Christians, we must remember that when we spend time with friends and whatever we discuss should be for the praise and glory of God.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about spending time with friends.
