As children of God, we should always stand up for what is right. Many times we face situations where we are hesitant to make the right decision or stand up for what is right. God’s Word teaches us and helps us stand up for the truth.
In the life of Daniel, we see that when he was offered various foods and wine in the king’s house, he refused to accept them. Because he knew that God wanted us to always support what is right. So Daniel refused all the foods that God had forbidden him to eat. This is how we see Daniel standing up for what is right.
On the other hand, we find another example from the Bible where Esther came forward to save the Jewish nation at the risk of her own life. She realized that she was the one who had to stand up before the king and that through her the Jewish nation would be saved. So she courageously stood up before the king. In this incident, we learn that no matter how bad the situation is, God wants us to always stand up for what is right.
When we read the words of Jesus, we understand what is right and what is wrong. When we walk in this way, we should always know that we are on the side of what is right and that we should always hate what is wrong.
We believe that God is with us, so no matter how many challenges or oppositions we face in our lives, we will never deviate from the path of God’s righteousness.
Let us look at the following Bible Verses that talks about Standing Up For What’s Right.
