We must seek God’s guidance and direction through prayer when planning a mission trip. As we are asked to preach the gospel, it is needed to spread it throughout the world. When we go for a mission trip, it is not a mere travel, but it means a lot. We are working for the Lord, and we need his presence in us to explore the gospel to the unreached.
To begin this journey, we need to seek strength, protection, and wisdom. Prayer can give us the courage to face challenges during the mission trip. Also, we must remember that Jesus sent his disciples to preach and heal, so we are too do the same to the unbelievers. Jesus will be with us wherever we go, and he will lead us to the right place.
We need to pray for the people where we will go so that the Lord will open their hearts to trust the gospel. Our prayer will make way to reach the people, and we must pray for our team members who will accompany us. We are created to do good works, and reaching to unreached is one of the most important jobs that we can do.
A mission trip can be challenging, but surely it will be rewarding. The disciples of Jesus followed what Jesus asked them to do, and we need to follow in their footsteps. Finally, we can say that prayer is important for a mission trip to do God’s will.
