Today, we will discuss the importance of serving the Lord through the family. All family members should dedicate their lives and time to God’s glory. When the entire family gives time to God and surrenders itself to worship and adoration, God blesses that family.
May there be unity in our family life. When we all serve the Lord together, our relationship with each other and with God is closer. This united worship brings peace and happiness to the family. Jesus said that where two or more people gather in His name, He is with them. Through this, we understand that when a family prays to God and worships, God’s presence is in that family.
From the life of Noah, we see that when all people went down the path of unrighteousness, only his family remained steadfast in God’s way. As a result, God saved only his family when He destroyed the whole world with a flood. From this story, we can learn that if a family remains steadfast in God’s way, they will be rewarded.
Our families should teach their children about God’s love and His commandments. Parents should sit with their children in prayer and discuss the Word of God, through which children can establish a relationship with God. Children can follow God by watching their parents and following God’s plan.
When a family is surrendered to the Lord, no evil force can work on that family. The presence of God defeats all evil forces and makes that family victorious in all its endeavors.
