We often think about the fate of the wicked and wonder why they are not judged for their wrongdoing. The Bible gives us enough knowledge on this subject to help us understand the punishment of the wicked.
In God’s Word, we find countless examples of justice. When wickedness was rampant on earth in the time of Noah, God destroyed the ungodly with a flood. This proves that God punishes the wicked.
If we look at the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, we see that God punished them for their sin and immoral lifestyle. God destroyed them with fire, proving that He does not tolerate injustice and punishes the wicked.
In Proverbs, we see that the wicked will be punished and their evil deeds will lead them to their downfall. Through this, we learn that God judges justly and He punishes the wicked.
In the New Testament, Jesus taught that those who live unrighteous lives in this world will face eternal punishment in hell. God’s Word says that it is appointed for men to die once and then face judgment.
We should remember that God will judge everyone according to their deeds and He will punish the wicked eternally. Dear friends, now let us look at the following Bible verses that speak of punishing the wicked.
