As followers of Jesus Christ, we need to Glorify God with our talents. The Lord has blessed us with unique gifts and talents. It is important for us to use our talents to honor and glorify God.
Jesus spoke a parable to his disciples concerning talents. In that parable, a man entrusted his servants with different amounts of money before he left for a journey. When he returned, he found that two of the servants had wisely used their money, while the third one buried his money in the ground.
The master praised the two servants who used his money wisely. This parable gives us a lesson to use our talents for the sake of God’s kingdom.
We should contribute our talents to the edification of the church. We must give our efforts for the extension of God’s kingdom. Our talents should not only be used for our benefit but we must work for the Lord. If we can play music, we need to use our talents for the worship of God.
If the Lord has given us the wisdom then we must take part in teachings in the church. When we step forward with our talents and work in harmony, we build up the body of Christ.
Let us encourage one another and discover the talents that the Lord has given us. We can change our community by the talents that we get from the Lord. All our efforts will be rewarded by the Lord.
Dear friends, now let’s see the Bible scriptures below that talk about glorifying God with your talents.
